All People Quilt has teamed up with other sponsors and is hoping that Quilters all over the United States join together and make 1,000,000 pillowcases and donate them to local charities. They have asked that quilt shops participate in keeping count of donated pillowcases.
Thus and Sew Quilt Shop has agreed to be one of those shops to help tack numbers. The counting began January 2010 and is continuing until 1,000,000 pillowcases has been donated !
Lets make Baxter County Arkansas proud !
Each month, a new pillow case pattern will be placed on theWWW.allpeoplequilt.com web site. Right now there are 4 patterns and a new pattern should appear for each month of the year.
Will you help???? If you don't have fabrics to make the pillowcase, but would like to help, come by the shop, we have kits that you can take home , sew and return to us to donate.
If you have fabric that you know you will never use and would like to donate it to this cause, we will be glad to make kits and distribute them to be sewn and returned !
Who knows what we can do, if we all chip in !
